Netherbrew
The Netherwell drank the old world. Everything worth having sank with it — and it still glows, far down in the dark.
Netherbrew is a roguelite built on one promise: no blind ambushes, ever. Every horror on the board shows exactly what a step will cost you before you take it, so a run never ends in a cheap surprise — only in how deep you dared to go. Gather reagents, brew on the fly, and spend what you scavenge on permanent upgrades between descents.
- 🧪 Ten recipes, real decisions — four reagents brew ten potions: heal, ward, dissolve a cornering horror, firebomb a whole flank, or halve every monster on the board. Cross-brew to discover recipes the Codex remembers forever.
- 👁️ Read, don't gamble — a danger telegraph draws each threat's damage right on the board, so surviving is skill, not luck. Deaths come from attrition, never ambush.
- 🕯️ It always ends — the deeper you go, the more the well floods with horrors and starves you of ingredients. The question is never if you fall, but how far first.
- 🏆 Always a next goal — bank gold, buy permanent perks, chase the Daily Cauldron, and fill out a Codex of every recipe and horror. A run is 3–8 minutes; one more descent is always right there.
- ♿ Built for everyone — full screen-reader support, no color-only cues, big touch targets, reduced-motion mode, WCAG-AA contrast.
- 🚫 Respects you — no ads, no tracking, no timers, no pay-to-win. Fully offline.
Play free in your browser. The Supporter's Tome — a ten-trial challenge campaign, advanced perks, and extra board themes — available soon in the Netherbrew Android app. Descend — the dark is patient.
