They disabled her systems and left her in the belt to drift.

You wake up aboard the Lodestar, a salvage hauler somebody scuttled on purpose. The charts are gone, the engines are dead, and the belt outside is full of rock worth more than the ship. The reactor is still warm. The guns still cycle.

She can't run — so you take the belt apart from where she lies. Shoot the rock, tractor in what it drops, and bring her back system by system until the warp drive can jump you home. Everything comes to you.

In the demo

  • Two belts — the Outer Shallows and the Deep Belt
  • Two guardians, including THE MAGPIE KING, who steals your cargo and sheds glittering decoys to waste your turrets
  • The full salvage → refine → upgrade loop, and the first two Power Cores
  • Roughly 30–45 minutes

In the full game on Steam

  • Six belts, each with its own hazard: magnetic storms, comet showers, micro-rock surges, and the Maw
  • Six guardians, every one a different fight — a burrowing leviathan, a shepherd that drives comets into your hull, a hive that vents fighter wings
  • Beam lance, seeker missiles, flechettes, drones, point-defense
  • The Lodestar's logs, and the reason they sank her

Really cool!

Thank you so much for checking it out! I've been trying my hand at some game development since around March, and this was the first thing I thought might be good enough that people would play.

It's good, I like games about space, but currently it's slightly unbalanced - not enough copper. I end up with 100 ignots of everything except copper, so upgrading further is grindy.

Thanks, you were absolutely right! I looked at the numbers and copper was out of sync by almost 40%. Your feedback is super helpful. I pushed an update, let me know if it feels better!
